Meet Kara Kataki, the brand-new idol singer! She's also a wannabe image girl and very similar to Takane Hirouin. We first meet her in chapter 5 of volume 5, as one of the girls who tries to sabotage Futaba-chan in the Greatland Image Girl contest. We don't see her until after Takane leaves the contest. She, like Takane, ends up leaving the contest before the... er, unfortunate end, having been publically embarassed by her own sabotage ^_^ She's a very stuck up, spoiled idol singer who wanted to win the contest so she could debut as a singer and an image girl at the same time. She's really cute and bouncy in front of important people, but she tends to have large, destructive fits of rage when things don't go her way ^_^; She really hates Futaba-chan because she won the Greatland Image Girl contest, and tends to try and foil her career whenever she can. She has many parallels to Takane Hirouin, including being stuck on herself, having a henchman, wanting to be the best, and really hating Futaba-chan for being loved more than her. So basically, this means Takane's antagonism stays at school while Kara's antagonism stays at work while Futaba-chan's a model and actress ^_^;
